"Surreal Moods" is a series investigating the journey of the mind through the dimension of predictable and unpredictable moods. It is also a colorful modern take on the 'Escher' effect. The work was inspired by the motivating words of the renowned fine-art photographer Heidi Fickinger, who considered my work “Apple 3” to be a modern take on the 'Escher' effect. Thank you Heidi!
“Apple 3,”the core concept, was developed from the capture of a staircase. The painting took on new dimensions and was filled with new intriguing organic shapes and exciting vibrant colors. Each was designed to create different moods for your office, bedroom, living room and to stimulate conversation.
