My melanin is diverse.
My music is ever-changing,
and my rivers exude my warmth.
My fury is ever potent,
and my love forever runs deep.
My silence is ferocious;
from the ashes, my fire bleeds.
A product of my environment, you say.
Nay, my passion, presence and future, through God,
are divinely colors and shades of me.
