This series of work is a modern take on the 'Escher' effect. It was inspired by the motivating words of the renowned fine-art photographer Heidi Fickinger, who considered my work “Apple 3” to be a modern take on the 'Escher' effect. Thank you Heidi!
“Apple,” the base painting of this study, was developed from the capture of a staircase. The painting took on new dimensions and was filled with new intriguing organic shapes and exciting vibrant colors. Each was designed to create different moods for your office, bedroom, living room and to stimulate conversation.
